A coastal home oriented to the southern light and the long line of the sea.
Altair sits low on its site, drawn out along the contour so that every principal room holds the horizon. The plan is unhurried — rooms open to one another and to the weather, with deep eaves tempering the southern light.
Materials are few and left to age: lime-washed masonry, blackbutt, and concrete underfoot. The result is a house that feels settled from the day it was finished.
